Some bulbs appear dim?

The Bulb Setup: The lamp features 18 LED beads in total, 9 beads emit 365nm and 9 beads emit 405nm.

The 365nm wavelength is used to cure UV gels, while the 405nm wavelength is used to cure LED gels.

How to identify them when the lamp is ON: (Please note: Avoid looking directly at the LED beads while the lamp is operating for eye safety.)

You will notice a visual difference in brightness: the 365nm beads will appear dimmer to the naked eye, whereas the 405nm beads will look much brighter. 

How to identify them when the lamp is OFF:

If you look closely at the light beads when the lamp is turned off, you can see the physical size difference of the internal chips.

The 365nm beads contain a smaller chip, while the 405nm beads contain a larger chip.

Are battery powered lamps as effective as plug in lamps?

We can't speak for other lamps but the HONA Cube Cordless has been tested to work alongside the HONA Gel System while running on its own power and the light emitted remains the same as if it was plugged in.

The lamp will not start to fade in power if it does not have enough battery it will turn off completely and will need to be plugged in again to recharge (the lamp also works while plugged in like a traditional lamp)
